Safe and Secure 24 provide technologically advanced, yet simple to use, alarm systems, which are linked to our dedicated alarm receiving centre to ensure that your home is Safe and Secure 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You only need to press a button for on and another for off and if you need it, a help button - that's it. No complicated key pads – just on, off and help!
When an alarm goes off, our alarm receiving centre team connect to your home and they already know what sort of alarm has been activated. They assess the problem using the two-way audio connection which is built into the alarm panel itself.
The Safe and Secure 24 alarm system itself is tailored to your specific needs. The main parts of the system are as follows:
Main Console
The main console is usually housed downstairs and discreetly positioned to enable swift and convenient access without being too obtrusive. This is where the alarm receiving centre speaks to you in the event of an alarm being activated.
As with all the Safe & Secure 24 components, the digital capability means that apart from power and telephone, there is no unsightly wiring.
Remote Control
The alarm can be activated and deactivated from the main console, however it is much more practical to use a Remote Control Handset. The handset gives you peace of mind - no need to struggle into your home laden down with shopping worrying that you may not reach the main console before the alarm sounds. Plus the remote control has the extra facility of a panic button which instantly activates the alarm system.
Passive Infra Red (PIR) Movement Sensor
The PIR sensors monitor body heat and movement, to recognise an intruder and then send a digital code to the alarm receiving centre. The sensors are wireless, so no need to redecorate after they’ve been installed. And their battery life is over 12 months.
Window Contact
The window contacts send a signal immediately to the alarm receiving centre if the window is opened. They are wireless, small and compact and can be easily fitted without drilling or screwing.
Door Contact
It sends a signal immediately to the alarm receiving centre if the door is opened. It is wire free, small and compact, and easily fitted without drilling or screwing.
Panic Button
Panic buttons can be installed which if operated, will send a signal immediately to the alarm receiving centre.
